ROMZ began in 2019, founded to bring high-quality, affordable ice cream to a community where good ice cream was scarce and most of it imported. We set out to do it differently producing our own ice cream and desserts locally, from the raw materials up.
In 2020 we were formally incorporated as a private limited company under the OHADA Treaty at the Court of First Instance in Bamenda. Since then we have grown from a single parlour into a manufacturer operating across three divisions, production, parlours and distribution — with two locations in Bamenda and a team of more than ten.
Today, ROMZ products are made fresh in-house, served in our parlours, and delivered to retailers and stores across the North West Region. We continue to invest in our production capacity and our people, guided by the standards we set on day one.
